Does, Jane

Jane’s proposal on river cleanup actually

exceeds expectations because of her work

with the Spokane River Society.

Doe, John

L

ME

John’s work was a week late, but his work

demonstrated mastery of the proposal

process and

Hammer, Armand

O

WT

He turned in a sloppy assignment that isn’t

of acceptable quality for an 8th grader.

Smith, Violet

W

She was gone for that day.

Williams, Jeff

X

WT

Jeff obviously put a lot of work into this

proposal, but his work shows that he is still

struggling to grasp the concept.

Responsibility measures the reliability of students turning in their work.

X – Turned in, on time, to an acceptable standard

L – Turned in, late, to an acceptable standard

0 – Assignment was not turned in, or work turned in was not to an acceptable standard

W – Student was absent when assignment was turned in. Student needs to turn in assignment at next

reasonable time.

“Grading” – measures the student work to a classroom and personal standard. “WT” means that the

assignment shows the student is still working toward the expected standard. “ME” means that the work

shows the student has met the expected level of performance.
