Tomorrow, March 19th, parents will have an opportunity to review West Valley School District's approved HIV/AIDS curriculum for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. We will be meeting in the gym at 2:40pm and 5:30pm and parents are welcome to review the materials at either of these times.
Following the meeting, parents who wish to have their student excused from participation in the HIV/AIDS prevention program may sign a release form. These forms will be provided in our office. State law provides that a parents or guardian must attend such a meeting before they can object and have their child or ward excused from participation in the HIV/AIDS prevention program.
